Delete your TerraWarn account
Deletion is immediate, permanent, and self-service — no waiting period.
How to request deletion
You can delete your TerraWarn account directly from the app, in under a minute:
- 1. Open the app: Sign in to your TerraWarn account.
- 2. Go to Settings: Tap the Profile tab, then Settings.
- 3. Delete Account: Scroll to the Data section and tap "Delete Account," then confirm. Your account and its data are removed immediately.
If you're unable to access the app, email terrawarnlive@gmail.com from the address associated with your request and we'll delete your account manually.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes, with no retention period:
- Account: Your username and password.
- Profile: Your display name, if you set one.
- Medical profile: Blood type, allergies, conditions, medications, and instructions.
- Emergency contacts: Every contact you saved, including name and phone number.
- Dependents and family groups: Any dependents you manage, and your membership in any family group (other members' own accounts and data are not affected).
- Sessions: All active sign-in sessions on every device.
Deleting specific data without deleting your account
You don't have to delete your whole account to remove individual pieces of data. From within the app:
- Emergency contacts: Open the Contacts screen, select any contact, and remove it. This deletes that contact's name and phone number immediately, with no retention period.
- Dependents: Open the Family screen, select a dependent, and remove them. This deletes that dependent's profile immediately, with no retention period.
- Medical profile: Open the Medical Card screen and clear any field (blood type, allergies, conditions, medications, instructions) — changes save immediately and replace what was previously stored.
- Saved alerts: Any alert you've saved for offline access can be removed individually from your Saved list.
What isn't affected
Using TerraWarn as a guest never creates an account at all — everything in that case stays only on your own device and isn't something we hold or need to delete. Deleting your account has no effect on other people's accounts or data, including other members of a family group you were part of.
